Responsibilities

Providing direct support to the Principal Consultants and VPs, a Senior Consultant at Symmetrics Group plays an important role in client engagements as a subject matter expert across all of our key service areas: Sales Strategy, Sales & Marketing Integration, Sales Leadership, and Sales Force Capability. Those in the Senior Consultant position must be able to conduct effective discovery, formulate realistic, client-specific business recommendations, and provide support during the implementation of these recommendations. This includes:

 

  • Successfully engaging with internal and client stakeholders of all levels
  • Designing and facilitating both customer-facing meetings and internal working sessions
  • Developing quality deliverables to include impactful models, tools, guidelines, and best practices based on client-specific needs
  • Managing change within the client and navigating the political landscape
  • Assisting in the design and delivery of training, as well as the adoption/reinforcement of trained concepts
  • Ensure timely and accurate time and expense tracking on a weekly basis
Qualifications

The ideal Senior Consultant candidate will have the following qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years combined work experience in a sales or sales leadership role and as a consultant in the sales effectiveness/sales enablement space
  • Versatility to work across industry verticals
  • Skilled in creatively synthesizing data from disparate sources into models, tools, guidelines, and best practices
  • Orientation towards process and consensus-building with the ability to break down complex concepts into consumable pieces
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the propensity to be professionally direct (able to be direct when necessary, influence, persuade, and motivate others)
  • Demonstrated organizational and writing skills to develop and execute formal work plans, client deliverables, and internal content
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Mastery-Level skill in the use of MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • MBA preferred

Travel is required approximately 50% of the time for typical engagements (up to 75% at peak times). Compensation will be a combination of base salary and a variable bonus based on the margin realized through clients sold and managed.
